👨‍💻 About Me

I transform complex technical estates into automated, observable and reliable platforms that teams can trust. With over 25 years of experience across energy innovation, financial services, government, telematics and media, I’ve worked from hands-on software development through to leading DevOps and platform engineering teams.

My core focus is cloud infrastructure on AWS, Kubernetes platforms, Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, and robust CI/CD pipelines that reduce deployment risk while accelerating delivery. I’m equally comfortable diagnosing production incidents at 3rd-line depth as I am shaping strategy for multi-account cloud environments.

Currently I serve as Lead DevOps Engineer at Energy Systems Catapult, supporting the UK’s Net Zero mission by building and operating platforms for innovative energy research and startups.
